I referenced gun-happy teenage murderer Kyle Rittenhouse a couple of times on the twitters this weekend … … and the entire wingnut outrage-industrial complex lost their fucking shit. so much so that the UK Daily Mail devoted an entire full-page story to … me.
The only reason to hoard weapons of war, is so you don't have to bother reloading. Although it'll take almost as long to drop the empty and pick up a loaded, so it's a, as we used to say when I was stationed in German, "machy nikky".
I personally will never understand that inability to think critically and imagine that civilization as we know it will somehow cease to exist, and total anarchy will prevail. It flies in the face of the history of the human race! How many continental size wars have we had in Europe alone, and yet once the armies stop shooting because the governments either came to their senses, or one side utterly prevailed, and afterward...civilization returned to "normal". I mean, we had a CIVIL WAR here in the USA only 158 years ago where we were SHOOTING AT EACH OTHER, and one general cut a swath of death and destruction 50 miles wide from Atlanta to Savannah, yet during and afterward, civilization continued to chug along.
In a sense I feel sorry for these pinheads because most of them will die, never realizing just how ignorant they looked to everybody else.

Funny, I was just thinking I haven’t posted anything about KR for about a week. Time to get to it.
His events are being canceled, can’t get into college, was raised in a indoctrination atmosphere where the thought of violence against the latest boogie man is what gets them out of bed in morning.
He has been treated poorly by the legal system (we don’t have a “justice” system). Had he been held accountable for his actions PERHAPS he would see murder is wrong. His stupid, contrived defense, subjected to a mentally ill judge who cheered him on, delusional supporters you so eloquently describe without exaggeration, he would have been removed from the toxic sludge that has permeated his already deranged brain into thinking that he’s somehow a hero.
That’s one viewpoint I consider, but the likelihood of it actually happening would be pretty slim.
Now, onto the the real life consequences for him. He is despised. His supporters are dangerous delusional lunatics that have a big bowl of conspiracy theories for breakfast. They believe them with all their twisted little black hearts because they love to hate. Hate is their oxygen. They cling to “what if” situations in their demented brains. They’re ready to defend with military force their outhouses. Like John Malkovich in the movie Red, only not funny. These people take their outhouses seriously! Indoor plumbing? No! They’ll be traceable if they flush!
Hi Jeff, I read the Mail every day, when I saw the article about your opinions all I could think of.... the staff at the Mail was having a 20 mega ton chicken fried dump over your comments .... love it.... keep pissing these people off my friend.
My partner and I follow you on twitter (our junior at only 65) and we have uproarious early morning outbursts of laughter as I read them aloud. Just keep calling out the lunatic deplorables with your pithy commentary and they'll rise to the occasion every time.
I was a faithful follower of yours before Twitter banned me for eternity for suggesting Trump should avoid lighning, given his propensity to lie. ("wishing harm on others" ) I will gladly pay to read your take on anything and everything !
