It’s always nice to receive a solicitation for ideas from writers. I’ll tell you what I’m perplexed about and I would like to see more attention: the role of factions of the Capitol Police AND the Secret Service both of whom displayed suspicious behavior during and preceding the January 6th debacle. Secret Service’s texts messages were mysteriously deleted from that day, - and what about the footage of certain Capitol Police personnel AND certain congressmen giving tours to soon-to-be rioters. I don’t know if these topics lend themselves to your particular “slant” on things Jeff, - but these items seem to be yet “unearthed” and I hope someone uncovers what went on there....ok, you’re not Perry Mason, - but still, I’m just tossin’ that idea out there so people don’t forget! Why is the hypochristian crowd so threatened by women, LGBTQ, and minorities, oh and the poor, they REALLY despise the poor. Basically anyone who isn't a straight white male? And why do so many of the people they loathe still support them? Defies fucking logic...
Hi Jeff! You probably don’t want to go into great detail about this because you are still on twitter, where you have always been a delight/relief. But am I going crazy or has twitter changed dramatically and is deliberately emphasizing right wing tweets that are highlighted under trending and For You? While at the same time causing people who are more liberal to have their own tweets disappear off their thread and lose visibility?
Peter Thiel always seems to be throwing heavy-assed dynamite into our world. The latest move to wreck havoc with the call on SVB may be one of his worst, but it’s hard to choose. Go back to the Hulk Hogan affair. And his backing of fascist moronic phonies in political races, that’s “ye gods” awful. But this latest is insanely bad. And his foreign policy positions are an outrage. Not sure if it could work as a piece, it it’s the first that came to my pre-caffeinated mind.
